Transient Projects To People

Initially founded in Paris in 2013, and later working Internationally in a nomadic manner, Transient Projects To People creates exhibitions in shifting locations. The project started when Vico Persson moved to Paris and rented an old shop in the 18th district of the city. As a traveling exhibition concept with a focus on art that combine visionary ideas with aesthetics and experimentation, Transient Projects To People is all about celebrating art and making meaningful connections.
Not limited to a certain media, the past exhibitions have included painting, collage, photography, video art, contemporary dance, and performance art.
Transient Projects To People has had pop-up locations in Paris and Ghent, and participated in various events including Supermarket Art Fair in Stockholm and Art Athina, Athens.
In 2022, the concept re-emerged as Ti-Pi in Ghent, Belgium in partnership with Monumento. On two floors of an abandoned building near Dampoort Station, the upper space functioned as a workspace for visiting artists, while the lower floor was dedicated to group and solo exhibitions. We also occasionally hosted small concerts, workshops and artist's talks.
Ti-Pi Ghent hosted its last exhibition in December 2023, and Transient Projects is currently dormant but will soon pop up in a garage in Antwerp South!
Over the years, Transient Project has exhibited the work of numerous artists in solo or group exhibitions, including Elke Andreas Boon, Georgia Russell, Katrin Bremermann, Machteld Rullens, Marius Ritiu, Marlon Wobst, Monster Chetwynd, Romeo Mivekannin, Saskia de Brauw, Shirley Villavicencio Pizango, and many more.
